| 1st Lt Anthony R Rosatone Tony Rosatone was assigned to the 352nd in August of 1944 and flew Thunderbolts and Mustangs with the Squadron. His aircraft were 'Stasia' and 'Stasia II'. On the 18th January 1945 his flight leader let down to 500 feet near Brussels in an attempt to avoid appalling weather conditions. The rest of the flight lost contact with Tony and after he failed to return it was thought he had landed on the continent. He never returned and was later posted as Missing in action with no real indication what had happened to him. These photos are contributed by his nephew Lou Rosatone who can been contacted through this webite should anyone have further information regarding the loss of his uncle. |
